Warranty Policy for Chillybox, Single-Person, at-home cryochamber  

Warranty Period:  

Chillybox, LLC (“Chillybox”, “We” & “Our”) offers a 12-month, Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty from  the date of purchase by the end user. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing & workmanship,  including replacing parts shown to have defects or malfunctions that occur during normal use. 

Component-Specific Warranties: 

- Chillybox Housing Unit: Covers malfunctions of the door assembly, cracks or defects in  workmanship or materials. 

- Equipment & Controls: Coves malfunctions of the cooling assembly; including compressors, control  condensers, fans & control systems including sensors, breakers, switches, wires, relays, contacts, etc. - Internal parts: lights, fans & interior materials. 

- All other factory installed components not mentioned specifically, including, but not limited to the  lighting system & mechanical components are warranted against malfunction due to defects in  workmanship or materials 

Software Systems & Updates: 

- All software updates for the Chillybox are provided free of charge both during & after the warranty  period. 

- Regular updates are essential to maintain optimal performance, security & functionality of your  device. We are committed to ensuring that your Chillybox operates with the most up-to-date  software features. 

- To benefit from these updates, please keep your device connected to the internet. While software  updates are free, any cost associated with internet connectivity or data usage are the responsibility  of the user / owner. 

Exclusions & Limitations: 

This 12-month, Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty is void if: 

- Manufacturer or its designated representative determines that the Chillybox has been subjected to  alteration, neglect, misuse or abuse, or freight damage caused by the common carrier; - Unauthorized self-repairs or repairs made or contracted by an unauthorized electrician or anyone  other than a designated representative, use of aftermarket parts, power outages or surges, restricted  airflow; 

- If product is used commercially or in a commercial setting; 

- If being operated outside of recommended operating temperatures; 

- If being used in location other than the ship-to address; 

- If the failure is caused by accident, acts of God or other causes beyond the control of the  Manufacturer; 

- Operation of Chillybox other than in accordance with the instructions contained in the Owner’s  Manual provided with the Chillybox; 

- Variations in color, grain & minor imperfections in the finish are not considered defects.

- If the device is installed as a built-in appliance or enclosed within cabinetry. The Chillybox is  designed to be a freestanding unit, & any built-in installation will void this warranty. 

Operating Temperature & Humidity Guidelines: 

The Chillybox is designed to operate efficiently within a temperature range of 40F – 80F; making it suitable for in-home use. Please note that if the ambient temperature exceeds 80F &/or the  environment has high humidity (above 65%), the cooling capacity may decrease, leading to longer  cooling times & warmer session temperature. We recommend using your Chillybox in a temperature  & humidity-controlled environment. 

Additionally, if the ambient temperature exceeds 90F, the Chillybox may not function properly or  may not work at all. Operating in such high temperatures can cause overheating & potentially  damage internal components. Using the Chillybox in environments where the ambient temperature  exceeds 90F is prohibited. 

The Chillybox is intended exclusively for indoor, conditioned space. 

This information is crucial in maintaining your product’s performance & ensuring coverage under our  warranty. 

Relocating your Chillybox: 

If relocating the Chillybox outside of the room or premises where it was originally installed, it must  be moved by a professional team using specialty equipment such as a dolly, palette jack &/or lifting  harness. The unit must remain upright during transport & should not be tipped or rolled. Improper  handling will void the warranty and may cause significant damage. 

For movement within the same room, the Chillybox can be carefully moved in an upright position  using the built-in wheels located underneath the unit. In such case, move the Chillybox by following  the guidelines provided in the User Manual. 

Chillybox is not liable for injuries, property damage, or damage to the unit, including scratches,  dents, or mechanical damages resulting from unauthorized or improper movement of the unit. Damages resulting from incorrect relocation within the home are excluded from the warranty. 

Procedure for Claims: 

To make a warranty claim, create a support ticket on our website or email support@chillybox.com. Please ensure to include your order number & purchase date. Because Chillybox is being remotely  monitored, many issues can be resolved quickly & remotely. Chillybox reserves the right to  determine whether a covered part or item should be replaced or repaired. If an on-site technician  covered under this Limited Warranty is necessary, the cost of part(s) is covered by Chillybox.  However, if an on-site repair is not possible, Chillybox may, at its discretion, have the product  shipped to or from an in-house facility for repairs. Any repaired or replaced product will be  warrantied for the remainder of the original applicable Limited Warranty period.

Remedy: 

During the warranty period, should you Chillybox exhibit any defects or malfunctions covered by this  warranty, at our discretion, we will repair the unit at no cost to you. If a repair is not possible or  practical, we will replace the defective product with a new or refurbished product that is at least  functionally equivalent to the original. To obtain warranty service, please contact our customer  service department for assistance & further instructions. All warranty services must be performed by  our authorized providers. 

Please refer to the User Manual for detailed instruction on the proper use & maintenance of your  Chillybox. Familiarizing yourself with this information can prevent issues & ensure your unit operates  correctly.  

Post Manufacturer Warranty Period: 

Chillybox is here to keep you “freezing” beyond the one-year manufacturer’s warranty period with  continued support. We offer extended warranty plans & will continue to help with repairs, as  requested. After the 12 month manufacturer’s warranty period, all associated costs will be yours to  cover. Note that all software updates are free even after the warranty period has expired. We are  committed to ensuring your Chillybox operates with the latest features to maintain optimal  performance. 

Disclaimers 

The Manufacturer and its representatives will not be responsible for incidental or consequential  damages, & shall not be liable for any injury, loss, cost or other damage, whether incidental or  consequential, arising out of any defect covered by this limited warranty, including without limitation,  loss of use of the Chillybox & cost for removal of defective product even if the Manufacturer was  advised of the possibility of damage. The liability of the Manufacturer under this limited warranty, if  any, shall not exceed the original amount paid for the defective product. 

Coverage under this limited warranty shall commence as of the original date of purchase & the  duration of such coverage shall not extend for any reason whatsoever beyond the stated time  period. These disclaimers shall be equally applicable to any service provided by the Manufacturer &  its designated representatives.
