Chillybox is an innovative, fully electric cryochamber designed for single person, whole-body cryotherapy in the comfort of your home. As the first of its kind, Chillybox delivers all the benefits of commercial cryotherapy while eliminating the need for costly & time-consuming spa visits or complex installations.
One of our design goals was to deliver the Chillybox completely assembled. To do that, it may be delivered using a dolly. When the Chillybox transitions from the angle of the dolly to standing upright, it requires more vertical clearance. Therefore, the minimum space required is greater than the physical dimension of the Chillybox.
External Dimensions:
- Height: 93 Inches
- Width: 60 inches with shelves, 49 inches without
- Depth: 31 inches, 62 inches with the door fully open
- Weight: 700 lbs
Minimum Space Required:
- Height: 107 Inches
- Width: 80 Inches
- Depth: 64 Inches
Chillybox has been designed to be compact, yet spacious enough to accommodate a wide range of body sizes. Although the walls have been covered to protect your skin against a cold burn, it’s important that your body does not touch the interior walls. The dimensions of the interior space are: Height- 78 inches, Width- 29 inches, Depth- 24 inches
We’ve equipped the Chillybox with a number of safety features; including, door sensors, warm-air exchange, anti-slip & anti-burn flooring, anti-burn wall covering & lighting. Every Chillybox is also remotely monitored for utilization & reliability data. The environment inside any cryotherapy chamber is harsh & inhospitable for durations longer than 4 minutes. Users should always wear the suggested protective gear & be completely dry when doing a cryo session.
- Underwear or a dry swimsuit: you want to expose as much skin as possible, while protecting the most sensitive areas
- Gloves, socks & slippers: protect the skin on your hands & feet during a session
- Ear protection: earmuffs or headbands are best to protect the delicate tissue of your ears
- A mask over your mouth & nose will shield your airway from the extreme cold

Cardiac & Vascular conditions: hypertension, peripheral vascular disease, local limb ischemia, a history of vascular impairment, cardiac arrhythmia, recent heart attack, cardiovascular disease, pacemaker, stroke (recent or acute cerebrovascular event)
Other conditions: pregnancy, severe anemia, type 1 diabetes, acute kidney &/or urinary tract disease, epilepsy, some blood disorders, hypothyroidism, fever or infections, open skin lesions
Chillybox operates on a standard single-phase power supply with a 20 amp circuit. In other words, the Chillybox is a true plug-&-play device that operates from a standard 110 volt outlet, the standard in US households. Chillybox uses about the same power consumption as an electric teapot or a hairdryer!
No. All of the mechanical components that power the Chillybox are integrated within the unit. All you need to do is remove the packaging & plug it in – it’s that simple!
This depends on your local cost of power & on the number of sessions that you use per month. Assuming daily sessions & $0.15 per kWh, you can expect the monthly cost to be around $60 (less than the average cost of a daily cup of coffee!!)
Chillybox comes with a limited, one-year warranty that covers parts & manufacturing defects. See Warrantyhere. Returns are not accepted.
The standard delivery fee is $799. If your home &/or desired location poses particular complexities, there may be an additional charge.
Chillybox goes down to -160F. That is effectively chilly! There is no scientific evidence to support that temperatures lower than -160F provide any additional health benefits.
No, not exactly. You’ll create a user schedule that will automatically power on the Chillybox to ensure it’s cooled down & ready when you are. Afterward, the chamber will seamlessly switch to a drying mode to minimize energy consumption. It’s all about convenience & efficiency, tailored for your needs!
Typically, from 1-4 minutes. We suggest you start with 1 minute & build up to 3 or 4 minutes. You can exit the chamber at any time. If you’re not accustomed to the cryo experience, we suggest you start with 1 minute & build up to 3 minutes. Cryotherapy is safe to use daily & there are a number of studies that show consistent use yields better results.
